BRISTOL HIGHLIGHTS WALK
This is run every Saturday (from April-end September) starting at 11.00am from the Beetle Sculptue in Anchor Square on Harbourside.
Bristol, a colourful city and port with a thousand years of history. By walking with your guide through the city centre, old town, markets and historic harbour you can hear about the personalities, the stories and events that over centuries helped form Bristol into the energised and successful city of today. We will pass and talk about many of Bristol’s most famous landmarks en route. A circular tour lasting about 2 hours.
No need to book just turn up. £3.50 per person (under 12s free)

CLIFTON WALK Greatly developed during the 18th and 19th centuries Clifton village became the fashionable place to live for the nouveau riche. Starting 6.30pm from Christ Church, Clifton Green. MEDIEVAL BRISTOL ‘Brigstowe’ the settlement by the bridge. From the atmospheric old merchant streets, along the riverside to Temple Church.
Starting 6.30pm from the Corn Exchange, Corn Street. Walk takes about 1½ hours. Tuesday: 18 May, 15 June, 20 July, 17 August, 21 September No need to book just turn up. £3.50 per person (under 12s free)
BRISTOL’S HISTORIC WINE MERCHANTS Bristol’s important links with the wine trade go back over many centuries. Follow a wine trail through the city centre, old town and historic harbour finishing back at the Wine and Food Fair.
Starting 3.30pm and 5.30pm from the Information Point (next to the Wine Tasting Lecture Theatre) at the Wine and Food Fair, Lloyds Amphitheatre & Waterfront Square, Harbourside. Walk takes 1½ hours.
